What happens to my links once a CPC campaign ends?
Links will continue to track through Levanta once a CPC campaign ends, and will revert to the commission rate assigned to that ASIN by the seller where you will continue to earn on a CPA basis. It’s important to note that the same source will be applied to the fallback CPA link that the CPC link was utilizing, so you'll need to monitor expiration dates and budgets if it's important that the source matches the payout type.
Do I need to put in different links to leverage CPC campaigns?
Yes, you will need to embed the CPC specific links which will be available in our dashboard as well as via the API. You may notice a different structure than you’re accustomed to as CPC links will leverage Levanta’s redirect meaning links will start with levanta.io, not amazon.com. If you’re utilizing mobile deep-links already, you won’t notice a difference, but this is what allows Levanta links to successfully fallback to CPA campaigns once the CPC campaign ends.
Where do I see reporting on CPC campaigns?
Within the Levanta dashboard, click “Reports” and go to Cost-Per-Click which will show you total earnings from CPC campaigns. Sales and conversion data will still be visible even though you're earning on click.
