Cost-Per-Click Best Practices, Product Demo, and FAQ
CPC Overview and Benefits
Cost-Per-Click (CPC) is a powerful strategy that can elevate your brand's visibility and drive stronger results on Amazon alongside your Cost-Per-Acquisition (CPA) efforts. CPC campaigns offer sellers a unique opportunity to diversify their product offerings and open avenues to new partnerships.
Sellers should consider launching CPC campaigns to:
- Unlock Incremental Inventory: Unlock access to new creators as well as new channels and promotional strategies from existing partners.
- Stand Out from the Competition: Increase coverage with a unique offer for creators allowing them to earn on the qualified traffic they send to you.
- Boost Your Organic Rank: More coverage translates to more traffic. As your product pages see increased clicks and conversions, your organic rank on Amazon can improve, making your products more discoverable to potential customers.
- Drive Long-Term Value (LTV): CPC campaigns help generate awareness and interest in your brand, leading to sustained engagement over time. This can result in repeat customers and stronger brand loyalty.
- Flexible Budgeting: With CPC, you have more control over your spending. You can set budgets and adjust bids according to performance, ensuring you maximize your return on investment.

Best Practices for Initial Set Up
- When deciding to launch a CPC campaign we recommend starting with new product categories to increase awareness and excitement for that brand
- CPC rates would ideally be above average EPC’s as this will, in most cases, unlock incremental inventory for creators.
- EPC = Total commissions earned / Number of clicks
- To start, we recommend setting fairly large budgets in-line with or above current average monthly spend to allow for inevitable incrementality ($5,000 - $10,000).
FAQ
- What happens to traffic once a CPC campaign ends or runs out of budget?
- Due to how Levanta communicates with Amazon’s API, CPC campaigns will remain live through the remainder of the day after the budget is reached. For this reason, we recommend setting budgets with ‘buffer’ room in mind.
- Links will continue to track through Levanta once a CPC campaign expires due to budget or time constraints, and will revert to the CPA rate assigned to that ASIN
- Budget notifications?
- You will receive notifications when a campaign reaches 50, 75, and 100% of its allocated budget
- What Time Zone is my CPC campaign running in?
- Your CPC budget isn't timezone specific but the start and end date are based on the Amazon region of the product
- Can I edit my campaign?
- You can not currently edit your campaign so make sure all details are accurate before setting it live. The ability to edit campaigns will be coming soon!
