Stripe: Guidelines and SOP

If you’re getting paid through Stripe via Levanta, here’s everything you need to know to set up your payouts, avoid errors, and understand timelines.

Supported Countries and Territories

Levanta currently supports Stripe payouts in the following countries. If your country isn’t listed, unfortunately, payouts can’t be processed to your region at this time.

Supported Bank Account Types

You can receive payouts to the following accounts:

  • Checking and savings bank accounts

  • Virtual accounts (e.g., N26, Revolut, Wise)*

  • Debit cards (for instant payouts)**

* Virtual accounts may experience higher payout failure rates.
** Debit card payouts are only possible if eligible. This can be confirmed in your Stripe dashboard.

SSN vs EIN: Identification Guidelines by Business Type

Use this table to determine whether to use your Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN) when setting up your Stripe account:

Delayed payout

Usually paid within 30 days of invoice. If it's been over a week past due, contact support- cs@levanta.io

Request to use PayPal, Payoneer, Venmo, etc.

Not supported. Stripe is the only payment method.

Request to expand country support

Generally not possible unless you’re a strategic partner.

Need to update info (country, email, ID, phone, payout currency)

Requires a Stripe reset. Contact us and we’ll help- cs@levanta.io

Need to update bank info

Use this Stripe remediation link. If that fails, request a reset.

Tax form questions

Levanta only issues 1099s.

Confirm Stripe account email
