📖 Integrating with Levanta
A step-by-step guide on how to create links
Creator API
The Levanta API unlocks advanced functionality for scaling your affiliate marketing efforts programmatically. It’s ideal for creators and publishers managing large-scale operations or seeking automation.
Benefits of the Levanta API
Streamlined Integration: Connect your systems with Levanta to access a vast network of promotional opportunities with Amazon sellers.
Customizable Reporting: Get detailed performance data on clicks, conversions, sales, and commissions to refine your strategies.
Simplified Product Discovery: Use filtering options to find relevant products and deals effortlessly.
Automated Link Creation & Management: Save time by programmatically generating and managing affiliate links.
Key API Features
Active Brands Endpoint: Access details about partnered brands.
Product Catalog Endpoint: Discover products and filter by ASINs, commission rates, and availability.
Deals Endpoint: Find current and future deals to promote in content.
Product and Link Reporting Endpoints: Track performance metrics for campaigns over customizable timeframes.
Link Creation and Management Endpoints: Generate and manage links with unique ASIN/source combinations.
Example API Integration Workflow
Use the GET /products endpoint with access=true to maintain a database of accessible ASINs.
Identify new Amazon links in your CMS and run a match against your library of Levanta ASINs.
Use the POST /links endpoint to generate tracking links for matched ASINs.
Use Source and Sub Source IDs to create multiple links for the same ASIN to get more granular insights into performance. Many creators use Sources to differentiate between titles, distribution channels, or pages.
If using the Source functionality, it is important to remember that you must generate 10 clicks against a link to unlock visibility into conversions. Each time the Source or SubSource changes, a new link is generated against which you must drive 10 clicks. For this reason, we strongly recommend against too much granularity in your Source and SubSource use (i.e., do not use clickIDs or otherwise).
Use the GET /reports endpoint to track clicks, conversions, and sales daily.
Monitor and update disabled links periodically or via a webhook to ensure tracking accuracy.
When Is This the Best Solution?
You manage numerous ASINs and require a scalable, automated process.
You prefer dynamic integration over manual workflows.
