Frequently asked questions about the Creator side of the Levanta platform.

Q: Is Levanta affiliate-only, or can I do paid / flat-fee deals too?

Levanta supports both! You can earn through affiliate commissions and through paid/flat-fee brand deals. It’s up to you how you work with brands on the platform.

  • Affiliate deals: Earn a commission every time someone purchases through your unique tracking link. There’s no upfront payment. Your earnings are tied directly to sales performance.

  • Paid / flat-fee deals: Some brands on Levanta offer payment for content, regardless of how many sales your post drives. This gives you guaranteed income in addition to (or instead of) commission earnings. Just be sure to fill out your rate card on the platform!

Many creators use a mix of both, and that’s what we recommend too. Paid Placements for guaranteed income and affiliate links layered in for ongoing passive earnings.

Q: What is Levanta, and how does it work?

Levanta is an affiliate marketing platform that connects Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify brands directly with content creators like you. Here’s how it works in three simple steps:

  • A brand lists its products on Levanta and sets a commission rate it’ll pay creators.

  • You browse available deals in your Levanta dashboard, apply to partner with brands that fit your audience, and receive a unique affiliate link for each product.

  • When your audience clicks your link and buys the product, you earn a commission

  • Request samples to create content for your audience.

  • If you have Amazon goals/bonuses, you can still earn towards those goals by utilizing our Creator Connections integration and getting cash Loyalty Bonuses! Please check our knowledge base article for more information about Creator Connections & Loyalty Bonuses on Levanta.

Levanta gives brands the ability to offer higher, custom commission rates, which means more earning potential for you.

Q: How does the commission structure work? How much can I earn?

How much commission you earn depends on each brand. Here’s how commissions work across each marketplace:

Amazon

  • You earn the commission rate the brand sets on Levanta. Brands typically offer higher rates than Amazon’s native affiliate program (usually 3-5x) specifically to incentivize creators to promote their products.

  • Note: You cannot stack the brand’s Levanta commission with Amazon’s native affiliate rate. You earn one or the other, and the Levanta rate is almost always higher.

Walmart

  • Walmart is the best of both worlds. Through Levanta, you can earn both the seller’s commission and Walmart’s own affiliate commission, stacked together on each sale.

Shopify (Direct-to-Brand Website)

  • Some brands use Levanta to drive traffic directly to their own website (powered by Shopify). In these cases, the brand sets its own custom commission rate for purchases made through your link.

Note: Exact rates vary by brand and marketplace. Always check the deal details in your Levanta dashboard before promoting.

Q: What brands are on the platform?

Levanta works with over 3k brands across a wide range of categories, including but not limited to:

  • Health & wellness

  • Beauty & personal care

  • Home & kitchen

  • Sports & outdoors

  • Tech & electronics accessories

  • Pet products

  • Baby & family

Some notable brands on the platform include Kodak, Summer Fridays, AG1, SunBum, Ourplace, Flavcity, Hero Cosmetics, Kong, and more. The catalog is constantly growing as new brands join.

You can browse all available brand deals directly in your Levanta dashboard after signing up. Deals are searchable by category, commission rate, and product type, so you can find products that genuinely fit your content.

Q: What are the deliverables/posting requirements?

There are no mandatory posting requirements to use Levanta. You are not locked into a content schedule or required to make a specific number of posts to maintain access to affiliate links.

That said, here’s what’s expected:

  • Share your unique Levanta affiliate link in your content (video descriptions, bio links, social posts, blog articles, etc.).

  • Follow FTC guidelines by clearly disclosing your affiliate relationship when promoting products (e.g., “#ad”, “#affiliate”, or “I earn a commission on purchases”).

  • Samples are sent in good faith by brands hoping for promotion. Posting is encouraged but not mandatory. However, creators who consistently request samples without posting may be flagged for abuse.

  • Some individual Paid Placements may have specific requirements or exclusivity terms. Always review the deal terms before accepting.

Q: How do I access loyalty bonuses?

Levanta offers loyalty bonuses as a way to reward top-performing creators and long-term partners. Here’s how to find and unlock them:

  • To join our Creator Connection integration and be able to accept Loyalty Bonuses, email your Amazon Store ID to cs@levanta.io.

  • Log in to your Levanta dashboard and navigate to the Partnerships>My Loyalty Program section.

  • Bonuses are available on select brand partnerships and are triggered when you hit specific performance milestones (e.g., a certain number of sales or a revenue threshold within a period).

  • Once a bonus is unlocked, it is automatically added to your next payout.

Not all brands offer loyalty bonuses. In the “My Loyalty Programs" section, toggle to “Brands Offering Bonuses” to see what brands offer them, or when discovering products, filter by “Loyalty Bonus Products”. Be sure to message the brand to ask them to send you a Loyalty Bonus, and make sure to join all the CC campaigns for the Loyalty Bonuses you are sent!

Q: How do I request product samples from brands?

Once your partnership with a Seller is active, you can request product samples directly through Levanta. Navigate to Partnerships > My Products and look for products that have sampling enabled. Not all products are eligible, as this is determined by the brand. On any sample-enabled product, click Request Sample to submit your request. Your shipping information is handled securely through Levanta and shared directly with Amazon, so you won't need to provide it to the brand manually. You'll receive an in-app notification once the brand approves or declines your request.

Note: Sample availability is subject to your creator tier limits. Starter tier creators can submit up to 3 requests per day and 5 per month. You can also check our guide on How to Request Samples.

Q: Why did my conversion get removed?

Levanta tracks returns and other scenarios where a conversion is rescinded. For example, if a product is returned within 30 days after the end of the month in which the conversion was driven, you will not earn a commission for that product. After that, all conversions in that month are considered “locked,” and adjustments will no longer be made.

Q: I know traffic/sales have been driven today, but why are they not showing up in Levanta?

You’ll begin seeing traffic in Levanta after the first 10 clicks are recorded, and you’ll begin seeing conversions after the first sale. Keep in mind that Amazon Attribution data has a 24-hour delay, and thus it may take up to 24 hours for conversions/traffic to be displayed in Levanta.

Q: When do I get paid my commission after a new conversion?

You’ll get paid 30 days after the end of the month in which the conversion was driven.

Invoices are sent to Brands for conversions you’ve driven within the first few days of the month after a conversion was made. You get paid 30 days after the invoice is sent to the brand. For example, if you drove a conversion on Feb 12th, the brand would be invoiced for that conversion on March 1st. You’ll be paid out on April 1st. Keep in mind that it may take a few business days for the payment to process after it is sent.

Q: What happens if I drive a conversion for a product that is later returned?

Levanta tracks returns and other scenarios where a conversion is rescinded. If a product is returned within 30 days after the end of the month in which the conversion was driven, you will not earn a commission for that product. After that, all conversions in that month are considered “locked,” and adjustments will no longer be made.

Q: How do I view conversion-level data?

While you can review aggregate conversion data in our reporting suite, due to the level of detail offered by Amazon’s Attribution API, we cannot provide in-depth conversion-level data at this time.

Q: Do you have a public API?

Our public API is in development and will be launched very soon. Keep an eye out for updates via email.

Q: How do I create custom reports?

Currently, we do not support this out of the box, but please contact customer success via in-app chat or your sales representative, and our team may be able to add reports for your use case.

Q: Is Levanta limited to Amazon.com or can I promote Global Marketplaces as well?

Levanta launched Global functionality on April 9th, 2024, starting with the UK Amazon Marketplace. Additional countries will follow shortly after, with Canada and Germany the immediate next priorities. Canada and Germany should become available before the start of Q3 2024. Before the end of 2024, we will add Mexico, France, the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy. We are limited by the countries that have Amazon Attribution support. As additional countries become available, we will add them to Levanta.

You can read more about Global on our dedicated page: Global Documentation: Creators.
