Understanding Amazon’s Brand Referral Bonus (BRB) Program
Last updated: February 10, 2026
Overview
Amazon’s Brand Referral Bonus (BRB) program allows sellers to earn credits on qualified off-Amazon traffic. When you drive traffic to Amazon using an Attribution tag—such as those generated by Levanta—and that traffic results in a sale, Amazon may apply a bonus to your account.
These bonuses are credited toward future referral fees, helping you maximize the efficiency of your marketing spend.
However, it’s important to follow all program requirements to remain eligible. Non-compliance may lead to forfeited bonuses or removal from the program.
How the BRB Bonus Works
Bonuses are calculated on a monthly basis and are applied as Amazon referral fee refunds. You can view these in the Payment Repository Report within your Amazon dashboard.
📌 Please note that bonuses take up to two months to process, as this accounts for potential returns or cancellations.
How to View Your Brand Referral Bonus (BRB) Report in Levanta
You can easily check your estimated Brand Referral Bonus earnings through Levanta’s reporting dashboard. Here’s how:
Navigate to the Reports tab in your Levanta account
Click on More Reports to open the Brand Referral Bonus report
You can also select your preferred date range to view bonus predictions over time
Note: These earnings are estimates based on tracked sales through your external marketing links. Actual payouts are handled through your Amazon Seller Central account.

What Counts as Qualified Traffic and Purchases?
Qualified Traffic
This refers to any off-Amazon traffic (like from social media, blogs, or other platforms) that’s directed to your product or brand store page using an Amazon Attribution tag generated through Levanta. As long as the click comes through one of these tagged links, it counts!
Qualified Purchases
These are purchases made by customers within 14 days after clicking on a Qualified Traffic link. As long as the purchase happens within that window, it contributes to your Brand Referral Bonus.
📌 Tip: Always make sure you’re using the correct Levanta-generated link to ensure your traffic and purchases are properly tracked by Amazon.
Staying Compliant with Amazon's Brand Referral Bonus (BRB) & Amazon Associates Programs
To make the most of Amazon’s Brand Referral Bonus (BRB) program while staying compliant, it’s essential to understand the key restrictions around earnings and traffic sources. Here's a breakdown:
1. Simultaneous Earnings – One Program Per Tag
You can only earn either a Brand Referral Bonus or an Amazon Associates commission for a single tag created in Amazon Attribution.
If Amazon detects you're trying to claim both:
The bonus may be denied
You may be removed from one or both programs
In serious or repeated cases, your Amazon Seller or Associates account could be terminated
2. Traffic Source Requirements
Only traffic from approved, brand-safe sources will qualify for the bonus.
Amazon may reject traffic that violates its standards. For reference, see Sections 1(a)–1(f) of the Amazon Associates Program Participation Requirements.
3. Stay Compliant
To earn and retain bonuses:
Use one program per tag
Ensure your traffic sources follow Amazon's guidelines
